Job summary

Lonza is seeking a Business Development Manager – Tier 1 Accounts to drive revenue growth among major accounts in Ireland or the Netherlands. The role involves developing growth strategies, expanding product adoption, and strengthening strategic partnerships across Tier 1 clients.

Travel up to 50% and a fully remote working pattern are offered, with compensation guidance provided for Ireland and the Netherlands.

Qualifications

Degree educated in a Life Sciences discipline (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related).
Extensive commercial and business development experience within pharma/biotech/CDMO industries.
Strong understanding of the drug development lifecycle across pre-clinical to commercialisation stages.
Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience managing sales pipelines and customer engagement using CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce.com.
Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth across Tier 1 client portfolio and major accounts.
Develop and execute growth strategies to increase revenue and expand product portfolio.
Understand customers’ products, capabilities, and objectives to align solutions.
Lead commercial discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
Represent Lonza at industry conferences and events to support lead generation and partnerships.
