Job summary
Lightspeedhq in Amsterdam is seeking an IT Support Specialist I to join our Worldwide IT Support team. You will help provide hardware and software to employees, support end-users, and collaborate with Level 1 and 3 teammates to diagnose issues.
The role requires a mix of office and remote support across the Netherlands, onboarding/offboarding IT equipment, and maintaining inventory and knowledge bases. Strong communication and problem solving are essential.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field; relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience with MDM and ticketing systems.
- Proficiency in Mac OS and Windows environments.
- 1-3 years of IT Support experience.
Responsibilities
- On/offboarding IT equipment and inventory tracking.
- Maintain hardware and software records.
- Support office desks and conferencing rooms.
- Diagnose IT issues with Level 1 and 3 teams.
- Assist with configurations and IT projects as needed.
- Provide end-user and leadership support.
- Educate users on IT best practices.
- Ensure SOX compliance tasks are followed.
- Manage user access requests.
- Update IT knowledge base.
- Train Level 1 technicians on new tech.
- Support IT-Ops and office operations.
- Host large meetings and company events.
- Communicate clearly with leadership and stakeholders.
- Contribute to team objectives beyond scope.
