Job summary

Lightspeed is seeking an IT Support Specialist I to join our global Lightspeed team in Amsterdam. This role supports all Lightspeed employees in the Netherlands, both in-office and remote, and works with Level 1 and 3 IT colleagues to diagnose and resolve issues.

You will handle onboarding/offboarding, maintain hardware/software inventories, and ensure desks and rooms are ready. A strong emphasis on end-user support and IT best practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred.
• Experience with IT hardware and software provisioning and inventory management is a plus.
• Proficiency in Mac OS & Windows environments; strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Be in charge of on/offboarding and ensure the provision and repatriation of IT equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory (Backstore, A-V, Monitors, etc.).
• Ensure office desks & conferencing rooms are up to standard, functional and organized.
• Partner with Level 1 and 3 teammates to diagnose and troubleshoot main IT issues.
• Provide technical support to end-users and executive leadership.
• Educate end-users on IT best practices and provide technical training as needed.
• Maintain knowledge base and assist with IT compliance tasks.
