Leonardo Hotels in Amsterdam is looking for an experienced supervisor to ensure a unique guest experience and optimal service. You'll supervise and train your team, use decision-making skills to enhance guest satisfaction, and manage revenue growth through upselling and cost control.
The role necessitates at least 3 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree, and fluency in Dutch and English. You'll enjoy benefits like travel allowances, training opportunities, and employee discounts.
Together with your team, you ensure a unique guest experience and optimal service every single day. You supervise your team of supervisors, employees, and interns. You train and coach them whenever necessary, and they know they can always rely on you. If you notice that certain procedures don’t fully align with guest needs, you know exactly what is required to implement new procedures. You also pass that knowledge and sense of responsibility on to your team.
You are flexible and respond proactively to changes in your team’s staffing levels. You ensure the correct administrative handling of ongoing matters and make sure everything is properly documented.
You are also closely involved in revenue maximization through upselling, revenue management, cost control, and quality improvements. In addition, you have daily contact with our Housekeeping department, which is facilitated by an external company, to ensure that the day runs smoothly. Every shift brings new challenges, but one thing never changes: you deliver quality and exceed the expectations of both guests and your team.
The new Eden Hotel Amsterdam has undergone a complete metamorphosis after its renovation. We have a real Tokyo-style hotel bar, a beautiful Food Theatre where you can eat and drink all day long and a self-service concept has been rolled out in the new lobby. The addition of 5 new rooms brings the total to no less than 391 and makes us one of the largest hotels in the center of Amsterdam. A large number of rooms were also refurbished with a Burlesque theme. The history of Eden Hotels and the history of the hotel and its surroundings are brought to the fore in every aspect of the new design.
