Job summary

Start People zoekt een onafhankelijke chef voor ons populaire keukenkoncept in Renesse. Je bereidt dagelijks diverse gerechten en werkt aan de kwaliteit, netheid en gastbeleving in een dynamische keuken.

Bij ons krijg je de kans op een vast contract, een fulltime dienstverband van 40 uur per week, een flexibele planning en extra voordelen zoals reiskostenvergoeding en gratis maaltijd tijdens jouw dienst.

Qualifications

• MBO Niveau 3 in Culinaire Kunst of gerelateerd vakgebied.
• Eerdere ervaring als chef in restaurant, hotel of grote keuken.
• Kennis van HACCP en voedselveiligheidsnormen.
• Beschikbaarheid voor avonden en weekenddiensten.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en/of Engels.

Responsibilities

• Bereiden en koken volgens recept- en kwaliteitsnormen.
• Toezicht op smaak, kwaliteit en presentatie van maaltijden.
• Werken volgens HACCP-voedselveiligheidsvoorschriften.
• Controleren van inkomende leveringen en voorraad.
• Nemen van deel aan voorraadbeheer en onderhoud van de keuken.

Wat je gaat doen

As an Independent Chef, you will play an active role in the daily preparation of dishes for our popular restaurant concept. You will help ensure that our guests enjoy fresh and flavorful meals from our wok, grill, à la carte, and takeaway kitchens. Your Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and quality standards
• Monitoring taste, quality, and presentation of meals
• Working in compliance with HACCP food safety guidelines
• Inspecting and checking incoming deliveries
• Managing and monitoring stock levels
• Supporting kitchen assistants and junior team members
• Collaborating with colleagues to create an excellent guest experience
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment

Functie-eisen

We are looking for an independent chef with a passion for cooking and teamwork, who remains flexible and performs well under pressure.

• Completed MBO Level 3 qualification in Culinary Arts, Independent Chef, Hospitality, or a related field
• Previous experience as a chef in a restaurant, hotel, or large-scale kitchen
• Knowledge of HACCP regulations and food safety standards
• Ability to work effectively during busy service periods
• Availability for evening and weekend shifts
• Good command of Dutch and/or English
• Strong team player with a genuine passion for cooking
