Job summary

Chinees Restaurant Vleutens Paleis zoekt een gepassioneerde Independent Chef I om het keukenteam te versterken. Je bereidt gerechten zelfstandig en werkt nauw samen met het team in een dynamische keuken.

Je draagt zorg voor hygiëne, organisatie en continue kwaliteitsbewaking. Er is ruimte voor professionele ontwikkeling, met flexibele diensten en fulltime (38 uur per week).

Qualifications

• Vloeiende basiskennis van kooktechnieken vereist.
• Vereiste zelfstandige initiatie en oplossingsgericht werken.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels.
• Verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel voor hygiëne en keukenorganisatie.

Responsibilities

• Selecteren en voorbereiden van ingrediënten.
• Uitvoeren van tussentijdse controles op gaarheid, smaak en kleur.
• Zorgdragen voor constante kwaliteit en hygiëne in de keuken.
• Toezicht houden op keukenhulpen en waar nodig bijsturen.
• Bijhouden van voorraden, inkopen en leveringen controleren.
• Dagelijkse schoonmaak van werkomgeving en keukenapparatuur.

We are Chinees Restaurant Vleutens Paleis, looking for a passionate Independent Chef I to strengthen our kitchen team. Your Responsibilities:

• Selecting and preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.)
• Conducting intermediate checks (doneness, taste, color, etc.) and making adjustments as needed.
• Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene.
• Supervising the work of kitchen assistants and making corrections where necessary.
• Keeping track of stock levels, ordering ingredients, and checking deliveries.
• Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen equipment, and workstations.
• Reporting technical faults and resolving minor issues.
• Providing input regarding the composition and adjustments of menus, the menu list, and working methods
