As an Operation Executive at Asia File Products Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing facility in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing resources, and implementing process improvements to drive productivity and excellence.
What you'll be doing
Oversee and coordinate the overall manufacturing operations, including production planning, inventory management, and quality control
Implement process improvements and optimisation strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
Manage and lead a team of production workers, fostering a positive work environment and promoting continuous learning and development
Monitor and analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to address issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure seamless operations
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Contribute to the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar operations management role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse data and identify efficient solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
Proficient in using relevant software and tools for production planning, inventory management, and data analysis
Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and experience in implementing process improvements
