Company Background

We are representing our client, a prominent property development, construction, and engineering company. Our client is currently seeking dynamic candidates for the position of Junior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor (Based at Setia Alam, Selangor).

Job Description:

Pre & Post Contract

• Preparation of contract documentation for main contract, sub-contracts, and work orders; shortlist and recommend sub-contractors and suppliers;
• Involved in actual measurements, build up project budget, and build up rate for pricing of tenders (by using Cubicost software);
• Manage and supervise project contracts, in terms of preparing monthly costing and budgetary including claims, consultants, and sub-contractors;
• Preparation of interim valuations, variations orders, and Final Account upon completion;
• Attending site meetings and joint site valuations;
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying/Building or any related fields; equivalent graduate with 1-2 years experience.
• Proactive and willing to learn.
• Able to work in a team.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Saturday (9.00am to 6.00pm)
• Alternate Saturdays (9.00am to 1.00pm)
