A leading chemical manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a qualified candidate to perform laboratory analyses and support polymer production processes. The role involves executing polymer compounding projects and evaluating product properties. Design and conduct laboratory analyses, including FTIR, DSC, TGA, EDX, and related methods.
Plan and execute lab-scale polymer extrusion and injection molding activities in the technical workshop.
Perform mechanical property evaluations on products, such as tensile and flexural testing.
Troubleshoot polymer compounding processes and provide technical support for production.
Assist in and lead product or process development projects.
Provide technical support to customers, both locally and overseas.
Possess a bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Science, or other related fields.
Candidates with prior experience in the polymer or plastics industry, particularly in research and development (R&D) or laboratory work, will be given preference.
Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply, while candidates with relevant experience and knowledge are also welcome.
Must demonstrate a willingness to learn and the ability to take on challenges in daily responsibilities.
Proficiency in Japanese & Mandarin will be considered an added advantage.
