We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procure-to-Pay Senior Finance Analyst to support the trade team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing P2P operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across the full procurement lifecycle. This role is based in Malaysia.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise Procure to Pay daily operations, ensuring all document processing complies with company policies and is executed within established timelines.
- Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding invoice submissions and payment status, ensuring issue resolution.
- Prepare supplier payment forecasts and review the payment exception report.
- Review and perform supplier SOA reconciliation, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Provide operational and technical guidance to team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Support month-end closing activities, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Work closely with stakeholders and vendors to resolve invoice issues, ensuring adherence to policies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies, especially regarding document retention and record-keeping.
- Assist the tax team with GST and e-invoicing submissions.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the P2P function.
- Gather relevant information for audits and perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- At least an Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or working towards ACCA, MICPA, CIMA, etc.
- 3-5 years of experience in a shared service environment.
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, etc.
