Project Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) (2 posts)

Department: HKU Musketeers Foundation Institute of Data Science (47000) – Hong Kong.

Work type: Full‑time, two‑year fixed‑term contract with contract‑end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Qualifications
  • Good Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communication, marketing, or media‑related disciplines.
  • At least 2 years of full‑time work experience, preferably in tertiary education.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
  • Experience and knowledge in video‑editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Willingness to learn, good interpersonal skills, self‑motivation, detail‑oriented, strong sense of responsibility.
Responsibilities
  • Manage photography and video content, including shooting and editing for events and activities of the Institute.
  • Assist in e‑marketing and promote the Institute’s services, programs, and branding campaigns using multimedia means.
  • Provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support for non‑credit bearing programmes, seminars, workshops, conferences and outreach activities (logistical support, venue/catering arrangements, speaker invitations and coordination, financial settlements, meeting arrangements).
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
  • May be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.
