Back End Assembly Open Short Test Equipment Engineer

Job Description

1. Monitor equipment performance key indicators (Downtime / MTBA / PM success rate, etc.)
2. Monitor line equipment issues, analyze and initiate problem solving or provide engineering solutions.
3. Lead and perform the overall maintenance and preventive maintenance of tester and handler machines.
4. Drive improvement activities to enhance machine performance.
5. Develop and establish equipment operating procedures, troubleshooting, and service/maintenance standards and guidelines.
6. In charge of new machine installation, buyoff & qualification.
7. Assist in new product or process development and qualification.
8. Liaise with vendors on resolving technical issues.
9. Ensure line coverage and provide support across the lines.
10. Manage machine spare parts.

Requirements

1. Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic.
2. Able to read, write, and converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
3. Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
4. Power BI background will be an advantage.
