Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum Higher Secondary/STPM/‘A’ Level/Pre-U/Certificate or Diploma in Engineering.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant work experience.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with GDL.

  • Perform repairs and maintenance in workshop & at job sites.
  • Inspect machines, diagnose issues, and complete job documentation.
  • Maintain service vehicle and tools, report issues to supervisor.

Responsible for performing Volvo Construction Equipment repairs and maintenance work, both in workshop & at job sites as assigned, in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

Responsibilities

Follow safety practices and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Inspect machines, recommend parts, and complete job documentation.

Diagnose and repair issues using proper tools and techniques, minimizing rework.

Maintain service vehicle and ensure tools are available and in good condition.

Report additional issues, update supervisor, and support trainee technicians.

Attend required training and follow company policies and safety guidelines.

Handle parts returns, warranty items, and comply with environmental regulations.

Carry out other duties as assigned, including after-hours work if needed.

Required Knowledge & Experience

Minimum Higher Secondary/STPM/“A” Level/Pre-U/ Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.

At least two (2) years of relevant work experience.

Possess a valid driver’s license with GDL.

Able to read and write basic English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Positive work attitude and a strong team player.
