Job description

As part of MRC’s support to the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) efforts toincrease theacceptanceofMalaysianrubber andrubberproducts indomesticandinternationalmarkets, we are focusing on market promotion activities in the rubber sector from upstream to downstream. Byleveraging on MRC’s experience in marketing and promoting Malaysian rubber and rubber products, weaim to spearhead best practices in domestic and international promotion efforts for the Malaysianrubber industry.

Job Purpose:

To lead and execute market promotion programs, contribute to the success of the programs and support the Market Promotion team in achieving its goals.

JobDescription:

  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to plan, organise and attend local and international tradeshows, missions, visits or business matching programs.
  • Assist in devising strategies and market feasibility studies for implementingeffectiveinternational anddomestic promotional programs.
  • Lead the development, improvement, and maintenance of onlineportals and digital systems under the Market Promotion unit.
  • Coordinate, prepare and presentreportsandplansforthe relevantCommittees andstakeholders.
  • Handleenquiries, engagingand maintain good relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Reportregularlyonactivitiesandprogress totheManagementteam.
  • Lead the planningandexecutionofother initiativesandactivities suchasonlinebusiness platform,producingpromotionalmaterials,etc.
  • Undertake any other tasks/projects as identified by the CEO, DCEO, Chief of the Division, Director and Deputy Director from time to time.

Requirements:

  • A degreein marketing, business administration, orrelatedfield is preferable.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or events project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools
