HSE Manager & Compliance Leader
Job summary
A leading environmental management firm in Malaysia seeks a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to ensure compliance across their operations. You will oversee contractor management, conduct safety briefings, and lead the Emergency Response Team. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least 5 years of HSE management experience, and a strong understanding of Malaysian HSE laws. This position demands excellent communication and leadership skills, along with proficiency in ISO management systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HSE management, preferably in manufacturing or chemical industries.
- Registered Safety & Health Officer (Green Book) under DOSH or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE laws and regulations (OSHA 1994, EQA 1974).
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day compliance monitoring for HSE issues.
- Implement Contractor Management and conduct safety briefings.
- Lead the Emergency Response Team at the plant.
