Job summary
A leading company is seeking a Senior Engineer specializing in Instrumentation for Telecommunications with extensive experience in the offshore and onshore sectors. The successful candidate will manage projects, ensure compliance with standards, and lead design efforts in telecommunications for oil and gas facilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in offshore/onshore telecommunications.
- Strong knowledge in engineering/design, QA/QC, construction standards.
- Experience in FEED and/or EPCC for offshore facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and project management for telecommunications solutions.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC and industry standards.
- Oversee construction and execution in oil and gas projects.

We’re sourcing for qualified candidates to fill the post below:
Position: Senior Engineer, Instrumentation (Telecommunications)
Duration: 2 years (Renewable)
Work Location: Kuala Lumpur
Malaysian candidates
REQUIREMENTS:-
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Instrument and Control Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, and ICT engineering.
- A professional certificate by accredited Bodies/ Associations is an added advantage.
- Min. 15 years’ experience in offshore/onshore telecommunication and network design with proven track record in FEED, Detailed Engineering, construction, project management, execution and implementation for facilities in onshore and offshore gas plant.
- Strong knowledge in the engineering/design, including to QA/QC, construction and related codes & standards.
- Experienced in FEED and/or EPCC of offshore facility in the similar scale with COMPANY field is an advantage.
- Must have a good understanding of process and facilities design and production operations including a broad range of expertise on FEED, detail design development, construction/installation, commission/startup and production operations of oil and gas projects.
- Experienced in Call For Tender (CFT) development and Tendering execution of Offshore/Onshore gas plant/petrochemical/refinery industry are added advantages.
- Familiar with COMPANY operating, and control practices is a plus benefit.
- Knowledge on features/applications of Digital Oil & Gas field operation is an advantage.
- Conversant with related international codes and standards applicable for Telecom System design is advantage.
- Proficient in design and selection of Telecom network/devices, Microwave/Radio System, Satellite System, Fiber optic communication, and Wire & Wireless communication, etc.
