Thermo Scientific Microbiology Sdn Bhd, under the Microbiology Division of Thermo Fisher Scientific, is seeking a suitable candidate for the role of Production Operator.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete and coordinate all production activities to meet manufacturing goals through efficient use of resources (workforce, materials, machines, methodologies) in a safe and healthy environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

1. Assist in the production process, including:
2. Weighing and preparing raw materials and equipment for sterilization.
3. Setting up laboratory equipment and maintaining it in a clean and safe condition.
4. Media pouring (machine and manual).
5. Media labelling, packing, and storage.

Education:

Secondary school (SPM) or equivalent is minimally required.

Experience:

Some production experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure and perform multiple tasks.
• Good interpersonal skills and a hardworking attitude.
• Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility, demonstrated through adherence to attendance guidelines.
