A local IT firm located in Johor Bahru is looking for a skilled IT professional to oversee the management of IT infrastructure, implement cybersecurity measures, and provide technical support to internal staff. Key responsibilities include ensuring optimal system performance, managing IT assets, and coordinating with vendors. Ideal candidates should have experience in IT support and a strong understanding of cybersecurity practices. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.
System Administration: Maintain the optimal performance, smooth daily operation, and connectivity of all IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and internal databases.
IT Security & Data Management: Implement robust cybersecurity measures, manage access controls, and ensure all critical system data is securely backed up and prepared for disaster recovery.
Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact to provide prompt and effective technical support to internal staff on all hardware, software, and network issues.
Application & Development Support: Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to support the testing, documentation, and operational maintenance of business applications and systems.
Vendor & Asset Management: Manage all IT assets (hardware, licenses, subscriptions), oversee service contract renewals, and effectively liaise with external vendors and service providers.
