The Transaction Capture Analyst 1 – Officer – (Hybrid) works in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, providing analytic and administrative trade support in coordination with the Transaction Capture team.

In this role, you’re expected to:
  • Receive and enter unit registry transactions in the registry system.
  • Upload unit prices to the registry system.
  • Prepare payment files and cash instructions.
  • Produce, review, and send investor statements.
  • Generate end‑of‑day client reporting.
  • Reconcile cash movements and resolve related issues.
  • Process and pay fund distributions.
  • Develop creative solutions to reduce errors and ensure adherence to audit and control policies.
  • Provide back‑up coverage for team members during high‑volume periods.
  • Respond to queries from internal stakeholders such as Fund Accounting, Middle Office, Cash and Settlements.
  • Issue monthly statements to investors in a secure manner (e.g., email, Victor Buck System).
  • Perform daily reconciliation confirming the number of orders by type received and processed.
  • Ensure proper completion of account opening forms, adhering to Citi FATCA and CRS obligations, including US tax form & CRS self‑certification validation.
  • Validate tax forms and update them in the TA system/FATCA engine.
  • Verify signatures to ensure authority for placed orders or requests.
  • Respond to queries from external stakeholders such as fund managers and auditors.
  • Meet reporting deadlines in accordance with client expectations.
  • Follow applicable Group Compliance policies for the TA role.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
  • Open to fresh graduates or individuals with at least 1 year of TA experience.
  • Strong knowledge of TA business, products, and workflow.
  • Understanding of operations for various fund types, including hedge funds, mutual funds, unit trusts, superannuation funds, etc.
  • Detailed knowledge of business processes and procedures, as well as service and systems (including downstream impacts).
  • Flexibility to work in different shifts.
  • Team‑oriented mindset and collaborative working style.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
