Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Malaysia is seeking a Pharmacist Technician/Assistant to aid in prescription processing and manage pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, providing medication counselling, and maintaining inventory. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Pharmacy with at least 3 years of clinical experience, with fresh graduates holding a Degree in Pharmacy also welcome. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

About the job Pharmacist Technician/Assistant

You will assist the pharmacists in prescription processing, to ensure accuracy and targeted waiting times are met. You will also assist the pharmacist-in-charge in planning and facilitating pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing of medication
• Medication counselling
• Prescription interventions
• Inventory control
• Financial Counselling (e.g. Medisave / CHAS / insurance etc)

Qualifications and Experience

1. Education qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy with at least 3 yrs clinical exp. (Candidates with Dip in Pharmacy may be offered Pharm Asst position if their clinical knowledge is not good enough. Prefer Degree in Pharmacy.)
2. Years of experience: Degree in Pharmacy fresh grad is ok. Dip in Pharmacy need min. 3 years of exp
3. Salary range: Starting from $2630. PA candidate start from $2580.
4. Housing allowance rate: $500
5. Other benefits: One-time relocation allowance of $1000. Variable bonus – Avg 2-2.5 months.
