Junior Accountant — Global Finance for Fresh Grads
Job summary
A healthcare company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This role will involve managing payment postings, reconciling accounts, and supporting the Customer-to-Cash processes. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with Microsoft Office, organized, and possess good communication skills. Knowledge of Mandarin is preferred. This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic business environment.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate, ideally with a background in finance or accounting.
- Comfortable with using Microsoft Office tools.
- Keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Post customer payments accurately based on bank statements.
- Match payments to corresponding invoices using remittance advice.
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of payments.
- Cross-check JDE system entries against bank statements.
- Resolve payment issues such as duplicates and discrepancies.
- Maintain records and support communication within the finance team.
- Project coordination for team-building activities.
