Job summary

DHL Asia Pacific Shared Services in Shah Alam is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse activities, ensure KPIs and SLAs are met, and drive continuous improvement across the operation. You will coach and develop warehouse teams, build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with DHL policies and HSSE standards.

A bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field and at least five years of warehouse/logistics experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Mandarin language ability is preferred to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, storage, and value-added services.
• Ensure operational KPIs, SLAs, productivity, and inventory accuracy targets are achieved.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams to drive high performance and engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor costs, resources, and manpower planning.
• Ensure compliance with DHL policies, HSSE standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and KPI-driven performance management.
• Experience managing customer-facing operations within a 3PL or logistics environment is preferred.
• Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications..
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and customers in a multilingual environment is an added advantage.
• Willing to be based at Shah Alam.
