Job summary

Valmatic Engineering in Malaysia is seeking a warehouse professional to manage daily stock, process GRNs, and ensure accurate receiving and dispatching of orders.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in warehouse/logistics, understands inbound/outbound workflows, and can use inventory systems; a Diploma in a related field is preferred, with strong attention to detail and independence.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily incoming stock, including receiving, quantity checking and visual inspection.
• Prepare and process Goods Received Notes (GRN) and ensure receiving records are accurate.
• Manage order fulfilment, including picking, checking, packing and dispatching orders.
• Prepare and verify Delivery Orders (DO) and other relevant documents for outgoing shipments.
• Liaise with the Logistics team to ensure orders are properly packed and ready for collection or delivery on time.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts.
• Investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies and monitor stock movements.
• Ensure proper stock arrangement and maximise warehouse space utilisation.
• Guide and assist warehouse staff on proper work procedures, stock control and workplace safety.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory or order fulfilment operations.
• Practical knowledge of standard warehouse workflows, including inbound, storage, picking, packing and outbound operations.
• Experience in receiving, GRN processing, order fulfilment, stock control and warehouse operations.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in checking products, quantities and documentation.
• Computer skills and experience using inventory management systems.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage daily warehouse activities effectively.
• Good commitment, positive attitude, proactive and willing to take initiative in daily warehouse operations.
