Job summary

HID Global in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Temporary Account Officer to manage accounts payable, supplier invoicing, payments, and month-end postings. You will work in a manufacturing environment and ensure accurate reconciliations and timely processing.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Certificate in accounting with at least 3 years of AP experience, and is proficient in Oracle/ERP and MS Excel. Strong English communication and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in accounting is required.
• Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Oracle or ERP systems and in MS Office applications (Excel).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Meticulous with strong problem solving and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Payable activities from invoice checking to payment processing.
• Create and update supplier registrations and maintain AP documentation.
• Prepare month-end journals and reconcile AP accruals/GRIR when needed.
• Prepare AP statements for reconciliations and maintain filing systems.
• Support ad hoc finance tasks as required.
