Job summary

HID Global is seeking a TEMPORARY Account Officer to manage Accounts Payable tasks in a manufacturing setting based in Malaysia. The role covers invoice checking, supplier registration, and payments, with month-end postings and accrual reviews.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or certificate in accounting and at least 3 years AP experience, with ERP proficiency and strong Excel skills. Excellent English communication and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in accounting is required.
• Minimum 3 years AP experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Oracle or ERP system.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Meticulous with strong problem solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Payable activities from invoice receipt to payment processing.
• Create and update supplier registrations in the ERP system.
• Check supplier invoices and post bookings accurately.
• Prepare and process supplier payments on a timely basis.
• Prepare journal entries for month-end closing and corrections.
• Review and clear unvouched AP accruals/GRIR monthly.
• Prepare AP Statement of Account reconciliations for liability accruals.
• Maintain filing system for AP documents and support ad hoc tasks.
