Job summary

ib vogt is seeking an AP Specialist in Kuala Lumpur to manage accounts payable and support the Accounting Department. You will process payables, ensure timely supplier payments, and maintain accurate journal entries in the ERP system.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting, 2–5 years in AP/AR, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP and accounting software. The role offers an international, dynamic environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 2–5 years in AP/AR Shared Services Center.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• ERP-system experience and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle routine payable transaction processing and recording.
• Ensure on-time payment of supplier invoices, intercompany loans and reimbursements.
• Ensure timely collection from customers and accurate journal posting in ERP.
• Support month-end processes with documentation for journals.
• Report on aged payables and prepare ad hoc reports.
• Identify improvements to AP/AR processes.
