Job summary

HID Global in Johor, Malaysia invites applications for a Temporary Accounts Payable Officer. You will manage the full AP lifecycle from invoice verification to payments, and keep supplier records up to date.

The role requires attention to detail and strong communication in English. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of AP experience in manufacturing, proficiency with Oracle or ERP, and solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in accounting is required.
• Minimum 3 years of AP experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Oracle or ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Payable activities from invoice receipt to payment processing.
• Create and update supplier registrations and maintain vendor records.
• Verify supplier invoices and post bookings; prepare timely payments.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and correct as needed.
• Review unvouched AP accruals/GRIR and reconcile statements monthly.
• Maintain AP filing system and perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.
