Job summary

HID Global in Malaysia is seeking a Temporary Account Officer on a 9-month contract to manage accounts payable processes and support month-end close.

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in accounting, at least 3 years of AP experience in manufacturing, and proficiency in Oracle/ERP systems, MS Excel, and English communication. Work independently to meet deadlines in a professional office setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of AP experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Oracle or ERP system.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Meticulous and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Payable activities
• Create and update supplier registrations
• Check supplier invoices and booking of invoices
• Prepare and process supplier payments
• Prepare journal entries for month end closing and corrections
• Review and clear unvouched AP accruals/GRIR timely
• Prepare AP Statement of Account Reconciliation monthly
• Manage filing system for AP documentation
• Handle other ad hoc tasks as assigned
