Job summary

HID Global in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Temporary Account Officer responsible for Accounts Payable, handling supplier invoices, processing payments and supporting month‑end close activities.

Requirements include a Diploma or Certificate in accounting, at least 3 years AP experience in a manufacturing environment, proficiency in Oracle or ERP systems and MS Excel, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in accounting.
• Minimum 3 years AP experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Oracle or ERP systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Payable activities from invoice checking to supplier payments.
• Create and update supplier registrations and maintain records.
• Check supplier invoices and book them in the ERP system.
• Prepare and process supplier payments and related journals.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and correct as needed.
• Review and clear unvouched AP accruals/GRIR in a timely manner.
• Prepare AP reconciliations to ensure proper liability accruals.
• Maintain filing for Accounts Payable documentation and handle ad hoc tasks.
