Job summary

IDMS Technologies Sdn Bhd, a document technology company, is hiring a Field Service Technician to carry out repairs and servicing of SHARP and FUJIFILM MFPs at client sites and workshop. The role covers Port Dickson area with on-site duties, and training will be provided.

Applicants should have engineering or IT qualifications, strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid car is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Mechatronic/Electromechanical, Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Self-motivated, mature, and able to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing of Monochrome and Color Digital Multifunction Products (SHARP & FUJI FILM MFPs), at workshop or customer sites; ensure high service standards.
• Manage and repair copiers on and off-site.
• Investigate and resolve maintenance and repair issues; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Respond to customer calls and ensure machines are working; conduct troubleshooting and escalate complex issues.
• On-the-job training will be provided; HQ located at Seremban 2.
• Role covers Port Dickson area; placement based on home address.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing of Monochrome and Color Digital Multifunction Product (SHARP & FUJI FILM MFPs), enable hardware and software at workshop or customer's premises and services to the highest standards.
• Manage and repair copier on and off-site
• Investigate and resolve maintenance and repair issues
• Identifying and troubleshoot malfunctions cause
• Respond to all customer's call and ensure that the customer's machine is in working condition.
• Conduct trouble shooting on machines and elevate problem to Superior for issues that are complicated.
• OJT training will be provided.
• Our HQ located at Seremban 2
• Experience in Related Fields would be an advantage
• This role will cover Port Dickson area and successful candidates will be assigned based on their home address

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia/ English.
• Ability to demonstrate and technically oriented with good analytical skills.
• Mature and able to work with minimum supervision. Able to handle customer's complaints.
• Knowledge of color digital print products and knowledge of file handling software will be an added advantage.
• At least 1 Year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided by the Company.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and hardworking.

• Must have own transport-CAR.
