Job summary

IDMS Technologies in Malaysia seeks a field service technician to service monochrome and color MFPs (SHARP & FUJI FILM), with on-site and workshop work around Port Dickson. You will diagnose, repair and support customers, aiming for high service standards.

The role covers Port Dickson area; training will be provided; fresh graduates encouraged. Must have own transport and be able to work as part of a team in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics or IT.
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willing to work with minimal supervision and handle customer complaints.
• At least 1 year experience; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Full-time position; own transport required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing of MFPs (SHARP & FUJI FILM), hardware and software at workshop or customer sites to high standards.
• Manage and repair copiers on/off-site.
• Investigate and resolve maintenance and repair issues.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Respond to customer calls and ensure machines are working.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• HQ located at Seremban 2; assignment based on home address.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing of Monochrome and Color Digital Multifunction Product (SHARP & FUJI FILM MFPs), enable hardware and software at workshop or customer's premises and services to the highest standards.
• Manage and repair copier on and off-site
• Investigate and resolve maintenance and repair issues
• Identifying and troubleshoot malfunctions cause
• Respond to all customer's call and ensure that the customer's machine is in working condition.
• Conduct trouble shooting on machines and escape problem to Superior for issues that are complicated.
• OJT training will be provided.
• Our HQ located at Seremban 2
• Experience in Related Fields would be an advantage
• This role will cover Port Dickson area and successful candidates will be assigned based on their home address

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia/ English.
• Ability to demonstrate and technically oriented with good analytical skills.
• Mature and able to work with minimum supervision. Able to handle customer's complaints.
• Knowledge of color digital print products and knowledge of file handling software will be an added advantage.
• At least 1 Year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided by the Company.
