Job summary

IDMS Technologies is seeking a field service technician to repair monochrome and color digital multifunction printers (SHARP & FUJI FILM MFPs), ensuring high standards of service at both workshop and customer sites. The role covers Batu Pahat/Johor Bahru and requires hands-on technical skills and good communication in Bahasa Malaysia/English.

Fresh graduates are welcome as training will be provided. The successful candidate may undergo HQ training in Seremban 2 before field deployment, and prior

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia/English.
• Ability to demonstrate and be technically oriented with good analytical skills.
• Mature and able to work with minimum supervision and handle customer complaints.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided by the Company.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing of Monochrome and Color Digital Multifunction Product (SHARP & FUJI FILM MFPs), enable hardware and software at workshop or customer's premises and services to the highest standards.
• Manage and repair copiers on and off-site.
• Investigate and resolve maintenance and repair issues.
• Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions causes.
• Respond to customer calls and ensure machines are in working condition.
• Conduct troubleshooting on machines and escalate to Superior for complex issues.
• OJT training will be provided.
• HQ located at Seremban 2; training may occur at HQ before field assignment.
• Experience in related fields would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct trouble shooting on machines and elevate problem to Superior for issues that are complicated.

• This role will cover Batu Pahat/Johor Bahru area and successful candidates will be assigned based on their home address

Requirements:
