Job summary

IDMS Technologies Sdn Bhd is a document technology company, serving SHARP & FUJIFILM MFPs, with a focus on reliability and competitive pricing. We seek a field service technician to repair and service monochrome and color printers, at workshop or client sites, ensuring high service standards.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to calls across Alor Gajah and nearby areas. Fresh graduates are welcome; training provided; join a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or related fields.
• Knowledge of color digital print products is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing of Monochrome and Color Digital Multifunction Product (SHARP & FUJI FILM MFPs) at workshop or on customer premises.
• Manage and repair copiers on and off-site and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Respond to customer calls and ensure machines are in working condition; perform on-the-job training.
• Investigate and resolve maintenance issues; escalate complex problems to supervisors.
• This role covers Alor Gajah/Tampin/Gemencheh/Gemas area; HQ is Seremban 2, Melaka branch at Ayer Keroh.

Responsibilities:

• · Carry out repairs and servicing of Monochrome and Color Digital Multifunction Product (SHARP & FUJI FILM MFPs), enable hardware and software at workshop or customer's premises and services to the highest standards.
• · Manage and repair copier on and off-site
• · Investigate and resolve maintenance and repair issues
• · Identifying and troubleshoot malfunctions cause
• · Respond to all customer's call and ensure that the customer's machine is in working condition.
• · Conduct trouble shooting on machines and elevate problem to Superior for issues that are complicated.
• · OJT training will be provided.
• · Our HQ located at Seremban 2 while our Melaka branch located at Ayer Keroh Melaka
• · Experience in Related Fields would be an advantage
• · This role will cover Alor Gajah/Tampin/Gemencheh/Gemas area and successful candidates will be assigned based on their home address

Requirements:

• · Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• · Good communication skills in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia/ English.
• · Ability to demonstrate and technically oriented with good analytical skills.
• · Mature and able to work with minimum supervision. Able to handle customer's complaints.
• · Knowledge of color digital print products and knowledge of file handling software will be an added advantage.
• · At least 1 Year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• · Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided by the Company.
