Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a field service technician to repair and service monochrome and color digital Multifunction Products (MFPs) at workshop or customer sites. You will ensure hardware and software performance meets high standards and provide on-site/off-site support.

The role requires engineering education in electronics/mechatronics, good bilingual communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma with electronics/mechatronics specialization.
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and handle customer complaints.
• Fresh graduates welcome; training provided.
• 1+ year of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing of monochrome and color digital MFPs (SHARP & FUJI FILM).
• Enable hardware and software at workshop or customer's premises to high standards.
• Manage and repair copiers on and off-site.
• Investigate and resolve maintenance and repair issues.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and respond to customer calls to ensure machines are working.
• Conduct on-the-job training; HQ located at Seremban 2.
• Role covers Jelebu/Jempol/Kuala Pilah area; assignment based on home address.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing of Monochrome and Color Digital Multifunction Product (SHARP & FUJI FILM MFPs), enable hardware and software at workshop or customer's premises and services to the highest standards.
• Manage and repair copier on and off-site
• Investigate and resolve maintenance and repair issues
• Identifying and troubleshoot malfunctions cause
• Respond to all customer's call and ensure that the customer's machine is in working condition.
• Conduct trouble shooting on machines and elevate problem to Superior for issues that are complicated.
• OJT training will be provided.
• Our HQ located at Seremban 2
• Experience in Related Fields would be an advantage
• This role will cover Jelebu/Jempol/Kuala Pilah area and successful candidates will be assigned based on their home address

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia/ English.
• Ability to demonstrate and technically oriented with good analytical skills.
• Mature and able to work with minimum supervision. Able to handle customer's complaints.
• Knowledge of color digital print products and knowledge of file handling software will be an added advantage.
• At least 1 Year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided by the Company.
