Job summary

IDMS Technologies is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to repair and service monochrome and color digital multifunction printers (Sharp & Fuji Film MFPs). Based in Mentakab/Jerantut area, you will travel to client sites and provide on-site or workshop support to keep machines running at highest standards.

You should have a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronics, good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or IT-related field.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken).
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and handle customer complaints.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing of monochrome and color digital MFPs at workshop or customer sites.
• Manage and repair copiers on/off-site and ensure machines are in working condition.
• Investigate and resolve maintenance and repair issues and perform troubleshooting.
• Respond to customer calls promptly and train on-the-job as needed.
• Work across Jerantut/Maran/Mentakab area; HQ in Seremban may require training.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs and servicing of Monochrome and Color Digital Multifunction Product (SHARP & FUJI FILM MFPs), enable hardware and software at workshop or customer's premises and services to the highest standards.
• Manage and repair copier on and off-site
• Investigate and resolve maintenance and repair issues
• Identifying and troubleshoot malfunctions cause
• Respond to all customer's call and ensure that the customer's machine is in working condition.
• Conduct trouble shooting on machines and elevate problem to Superior for issues that are complicated.
• OJT training will be provided.
• Our HQ located at Seremban 2. Successful candidate may need undergo training at our HQ before assigned to field.
• Experience in Related Fields would be an advantage
• This role will cover Jerantut/Maran/Mentakab area and successful candidates will be assigned based on their home address

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia/ English.
• Ability to demonstrate and technically oriented with good analytical skills.
• Mature and able to work with minimum supervision. Able to handle customer's complaints.
• Knowledge of color digital print products and knowledge of file handling software will be an added advantage.
• At least 1 Year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided by the Company.
