Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a reliable and hands-on IT Technician to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT, electrical wiring, and AV systems for education, corporate, and training environments.

Diploma in Computer Science/ IT/ Electronic/ Electrical required; minimum 2 years experience; knowledge of electrical wiring, cabling, and safety; able to work independently and in a team; travel and on-site work; proficient in MS Office; experience with switches/routers/Firewalls a

• Minimum 2 years working experience.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, structured cabling, and safety practices.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be computer literate (MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint and basic graphical software).
• Possess strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and design skills.
• Willing to travel and perform on-site work.
• Technical knowledge and experience in Switches, Router and Firewall will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical wiring, cabling, and power setup for IT and AV equipment.
• Install, configure, and test audio-visual systems (e.g. displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, interactive panels).
• Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer equipment.
• Computer hardware/networking troubleshooting skills.
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients.
• Support sales team for product demonstration, training, POC.
• Must be result-orientated and able to work extra hours to meet deadlines.
