Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a reliable IT Technician to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT, electrical wiring, and AV systems. The successful candidate will be involved in on-site deployment projects for education, corporate, and training environments.

We require a Diploma in Computer Science/ IT/ Electronics/ Electrical or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Willingness to travel and strong teamwork are essential, with knowledge of switches/routers/firewalls

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronic / Electrical or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years working experience.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, structured cabling, and safety practices.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint and basic graphical software).
• Possess strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and design skills.
• Willing to travel and perform on-site work.
• Technical knowledge and experience in Switches, Router and Firewall will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical wiring, cabling, and power setup for IT and AV equipment.
• Install, configure, and test audio-visual systems (e.g. displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, interactive panels).
• Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer equipment.
• Computer hardware/networking troubleshooting skills.
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients.
• Support sales team for product demonstration, training, POC.
• Must be result‑orientated and able to work extra hours to meet deadlines.
