Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a reliable IT Technician to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT, electrical wiring, and AV systems. On-site deployment projects target education, corporate, and training environments.

The candidate should hold a Diploma in CS/IT/Electronic or Electrical, have at least 2 years of experience, and be proficient in MS Office. The role requires travel and teamwork, with knowledge of wiring and networking a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronic / Electrical or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years working experience.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, structured cabling, and safety practices.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be computer literate (MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint and basic graphical software).
• Possess strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and design skills.
• Willing to travel and perform on-site work.
• Technical knowledge and experience in Switches, Router and Firewall will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical wiring, cabling, and power setup for IT and AV equipment
• Install, configure, and test audio-visual systems (e.g. displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, interactive panels)
• Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer equipment
• Computer hardware/networking troubleshooting skills
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new systems and equipment
• Provide technical support and advice to clients
• Support sales team for product demonstration, training, POC
• Must be result-oriented and able to work extra hours to meet deadlines.
