Job summary

Info-Tech Systems Integrators (M) Sdn Bhd invites applications for a role supporting installation, configuration and troubleshooting of technical equipment both onsite and in-house. The position requires regular travel to customer premises, clear customer communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and a valid motorcycle licence.

You will perform wiring, cabling, equipment setup, testing and provide hands-on technical assistance to the Technical Department while progressively taking on

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• SPM or equivalent qualification; higher qualifications are an advantage.
• Must own a motorcycle and possess a valid motorcycle riding licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly for onsite assignments.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general installation, setup, configuration and troubleshooting of technical equipment and systems.
• Perform basic wiring, cabling and installation works when required.
• Carry out onsite inspection, maintenance and technical support.
• Attend customer premises regularly according to job assignments scheduled by the Technical Department.

• Ensure assigned jobs are completed properly and report work progress to the Technical Team Lead.

Job description

B. In-House Office Duties

Perform equipment inspection, testing, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Assist with hardware preparation and technical testing.

Provide in-house technical support and assistance to the Technical Department.

Carry out general office-based technical tasks and departmental assignments.

Attend to additional duties, responsibilities and assignments as instructed or requested by Management from time to time.

Main Requirements:

Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification; higher qualifications are an advantage.

Able to communicate, read and write well in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Must own a motorcycle and possess a valid motorcycle riding licence.

Basic technical knowledge or working experience in installation, wiring, cabling, equipment setup or troubleshooting is an advantage.

Willing and able to travel regularly for onsite assignments.

Able to communicate with customers clearly and confidently.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsible, disciplined, punctual and willing to learn new technical skills.

Must be willing and able to work beyond normal working hours when required to attend to urgent assignments or operational needs.
