Job summary

JS Solar Sdn Bhd, based in Malaysia, seeks a Business Development Executive to identify new opportunities in Solar, Renewable Energy, Utilities, or Infrastructure and build strong client relationships. You will monitor market trends, coordinate tender submissions, and work with cross-functional teams to prepare competitive proposals from planning to post-award.

The role requires 2–3 years in business development or sales within the solar/renewable energy industry, with excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related.
• 2–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Commercial support in solar/renewable energy/utilities/construction.
• Experience in preparing and coordinating tender or bid submissions is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of solar PV/renewable energy/EPCC industry is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Able to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Solar, Renewable Energy, Utilities, or Infrastructure sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with Clients, Consultants, Developers, and Strategic Partners.
• Monitor market trends and upcoming tenders to identify opportunities.
• Support preparation, coordination, and submission of tender/RFP/RFQ.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, Finance, and Legal teams to prepare proposals.
• Ensure tender submissions are complete, accurate, compliant, and timely.
• Prepare presentations, capability statements, company profiles, and marketing materials.
• Assist in pricing analysis, bid evaluation, and commercial assessments.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and industry events to expand networks.
• Maintain records of opportunities, tender pipelines, customer databases, and CRM systems.
• Support contract negotiations, project handover, and post-award documentation.
