Job summary

D Solar Sdn Bhd is hiring a Business Development Consultant in Malaysia to manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from hunting for opportunities to closing impactful solar deals. You will build a robust pipeline, initiate conversations across channels, and coordinate with marketing, engineering, and operations to tailor solar solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (Diploma/Degree in any field).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with clients in professional and social settings.
• Strong relationship-building skills, follow up discipline and service mindset.
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-growing technology environment.
• Willing and able to travel for business purposes.
• Able to communicate professionally in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a bonus).
• Interested or experience in renewable energy or solar solutions is highly advantageous

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sales lifecycle from hunting for opportunities to closing deals.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and build a robust pipeline.
• Initiate conversations via email, phone, social media, and face-to-face meetings.
• Manage sales journey including lead qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
• Collaborate with marketing, engineering and operations to tailor solar solutions.
• Represent D Solar at industry events to build strategic relationships.
• Maintain CRM records and provide regular pipeline updates to management.
