Job summary

Westcon-Comstor is seeking an IT security professional in Malaysia to support pre- and post-sales activities. You will work with sales and product teams, conduct POC, and prepare technical proposals for customers.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of security architectures, firewall and IPS technologies, and strong communication. You will present solutions and explore new technologies while collaborating with partners.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant discipline
• Good knowledge of Security Design Architecture, OSI model, TCP/IP model, Network Security and Protocols
• Experience in security technologies, including firewall and IPS
• At least 2 years experience in the IT Security domain, in a technical role
• Team player but with the ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales and product teams
• Conduct Proof-Of-Concept (POC) and prepare technical proposals
• Conduct solution presentation and workshops
• Provide pre and post-sales support
• Propose and explore new and upcoming technologies in the market
• Perform any other duties as assigned
