Job summary

Tec D Malaysia is seeking a driven Pre-Sales Consultant specializing in Network & Security to join our Malaysia team. You will translate customer requirements into practical designs, deliver technical demonstrations, and collaborate with sales, product managers, and vendors to craft winning proposals.

The role requires strong networking and cybersecurity knowledge, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to develop high-level designs and accurate BOMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Network & Security pre-sales, systems engineering, or solution consulting.
• Experience with enterprise networking and cybersecurity solutions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business and technical requirements.
• Design and propose Network & Security solutions and develop High-Level Designs (HLD) and architectures.
• Prepare BOMs, sizing, and solution documentation for smooth handover to delivery teams.
• Support pre-sales lifecycle and respond to RFx, RFQ, and RFP documents.
• Deliver customer presentations, technical workshops, and product demonstrations.
• Lead technical evaluations, POCs, and POVs; position solutions against competitors.
