Tatawa Industries (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to monitor ocean freight, insurance, and agency costs, while coordinating with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely shipments.

You will oversee the shipping process from L/C checks to bills of lading and customs clearance, and manage trade certificates with MITI, MIDA, and MOH. Leadership, initiative, and multitasking are essential in this fast-paced role.

Responsabilités

• Monitor ocean freight, insurance, and agency costs; report to senior management and negotiate competitive rates with forwarders.
• Manage application and renewal of crucial trade certificates and duty exemptions with Malaysian authorities (MITI, MIDA, MOH).
• Oversee shipping process: check L/C requirements, bookings, draft Bills of Lading, and manage customs clearances.

Monitor, update, and report ocean freight, insurance, and agency costs to senior management while routinely negotiating competitive rates with freight forwarders.

Manage the application and renewal of crucial trade certificates and duty exemptions with Malaysian government authorities, including MITI, MIDA, and MOH.

Oversee the complete shipping process, from checking Letter of Credit (L/C) requirements and confirming bookings to drafting Bills of Lading, managing custom clearances, and tracking ETAs/ETDs.

Supervise daily local and Singapore delivery schedules, coordinate outsourced trucking fleets, manage vehicle maintenance/road tax renewals, and handle intercompany billing and related entities.

Coordinate with production planners and warehouse staff to monitor container loading, verify pallet tallies against sales orders, and issue shortage memos when necessary.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree holder in any business-related discipline.

At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skill.

Initiative and self-motivated.

Able to work in challenging and fast-paced environment.

Strong prioritizing skills, ability to multi-task and result driven.
