Job summary

Epic Chemicals Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics/Shipping Coordinator to manage import/export shipments, document control, and coordination with customs, freight forwarders, and service providers. You will ensure accuracy of invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading, and maintain timely communication across stakeholders.

Candidates with a Diploma or Degree and strong communication and analytical skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Degree holder. Fresh graduate is encouraged.
• Knowledge in Standards and Regulatory requirements will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Customer oriented with good communication skills.
• Reports preparation and transaction updates.
• Self-starter and ability to work on own initiative and in team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate container bookings, loading schedules, trucking arrangements, and port documentation to ensure timely shipment movement.
• Prepare, review, and verify shipping and trade documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading and other import/export documentation.
• Liaise with customs authorities, port authorities, shipping agents, freight forwarders, and relevant government agencies to facilitate smooth import and export clearance.
• Ensure all shipping and customs documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within the required timelines.
• Plan and coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics service providers, and customs clearance agents to ensure efficient handling of import and export shipments.
• Monitor shipment status and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify and resolve shipment, customs, transportation, and logistics issues promptly.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders throughout the shipment process.
• Ensure import and export activities comply with company procedures and applicable customs and trade regulations.
