Zhongda Shelf & Rack Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor is seeking a Shipping Admin to join our logistics team. This full-time role focuses on managing shipping documentation, coordinating freight, and ensuring smooth customs clearance for domestic and international shipments.

You will work with warehouse and production teams to prepare shipments, monitor status, and support cost analyses to optimise freight options.

Formación

• Experience in shipping admin or customs in manufacturing/import-export.
• Knowledge of shipping docs and customs clearance in Malaysia.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Good communication with internal teams and external partners.

About the role

Zhongda Shelf & Rack Technology (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Shipping Admin to join our dynamic team in Pasir Gudang, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our import/export and customs operations. As Shipping Admin, you will be responsible for managing shipping documentation, coordinating logistics activities, and ensuring smooth customs clearance processes. This role is essential to maintaining our supply chain efficiency and supporting our manufacturing and distribution operations across domestic and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and customs declarations
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers and customs brokers to arrange shipments and manage logistics operations
• Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to internal teams and customers regarding delivery timelines
• Verify accuracy of shipping information and ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements
• Process import and export documentation in accordance with local and international customs procedures
• Maintain comprehensive shipping records and maintain a filing system for all relevant documentation
• Liaise with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely preparation of shipments and accuracy of goods
• Handle customer enquiries related to shipments and provide support throughout the logistics process
• Assist with cost analysis of shipping options and support efforts to optimise freight expenses

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in shipping administration, logistics coordination or customs operations, preferably within manufacturing or import/export environments
• Strong knowledge of shipping documentation requirements and customs clearance procedures in Malaysia
• Proficiency in using shipping and logistics management systems and software
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing documentation and records
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, customers and external stakeholders
• Basic understanding of international trade regulations and customs compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Relevant certification or qualification in logistics, shipping or customs administration is advantageous
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency
