Job summary

QES Group of Companies seeks a Service Engineer to install, commission and support customers across Malaysia. You will perform site setup, qualification, and performance verification, then diagnose, repair and train customers on operation and maintenance of equipment.

Willingness to travel domestically or overseas is required. The ideal candidate holds a related engineering degree and at least 1 year of service experience, with strong communication, problem-solving and customer-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Physics / Electrical and Electronic/ Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in service.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, able to adapt to changing circumstances and able to work independently.
• Attention to details, possess problem resolution and creative thinking capabilities.
• Pleasant personality with customer-oriented mindset and good working attitude.

Job description

We are principally involved in the distribution of measurement, test & inspection equipment, automated handling equipment, materials and engineering solutions. In line with the business expansion, we are currently seeking a motivated candidate to fill up the vacancy of Service Engineer.

Responsibilities

Perform instrument installation, setup and commissioning at customer sites.

Conduct operational qualification and performance verification.

Provide after sales technical support to customers including diagnose and repair.

Provide training and demonstration to customers on the operation and maintenance of the equipment.

Respond to customer requests and take corrective actions within target timeline.

Liaise closely with customers, suppliers and teammates.

Maintain daily communication with customers and ensure resolution and proper follow-ups.

Prepare service reports, quotations and costing.

Requirements

Possess at least Degree in Mechanical / Physics / Electrical and Electronic/ Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum one (1) year experience in service.
