QES Group of Companies is seeking a Service Engineer based in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, to provide hands-on support, install and commission industrial equipment for semiconductor processes. You will train customers and deliver after-sales service while maintaining detailed documentation.

The role asks for a degree in Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronic / Mechanical Engineering, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply and willingness to travel domestically or overseas.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of industrial systems.

• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, sales and internal teams for effective resolutions.
• Maintain clear customer communications and proper documentation.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities such as new contracts or upgrades.
• Prepare service reports, quotations and costing documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on-site as scheduled.

Service Engineer (Based in Glenmarie, Shah Alam)

We are a global manufacturer specializing in optical inspection, measurement and automated handling equipment for front-end and back-end of Semiconductor industry processes.

In line with the business expansion, we are currently seeking a motivated candidate to fill the vacancy of Service Engineer (Based in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Selangor).

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers, including equipment demonstration, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of industrial systems.

Deliver training and after-sales service on the operation and upkeep of equipment.

Respond to customer requests and execute corrective actions within the agreed-upon timeframe.

Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, sales and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and effective resolutions.

Maintain clear and professional daily communication with customers, ensuring proper documentation and follow-ups.

Identify and participate in sales opportunities, such as new contracts, renewals, or system upgrades.

Prepare accurate service reports, quotations, and costing documentation.

Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on-site as scheduled.

Requirements

Possess a Degree in Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronic / Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Possess own transport and willing to travel domestically or overseas and willing to be stationed onsite for project requirements.

2-3 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry or with relevant instruments is an added advantage.

Knowledge in application software such as Geomagic, Solidworks, or other relevant metrology/inspection software is an added advantage.
