Job summary

QES Group of Companies in Shah Alam invites applications for an Engineer – Sales based at Hicom Glenmarie. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, presenting solutions, and managing the sales cycle from inquiry through closing.

Candidates should possess an Engineering degree (Electrical/Electronic) with fresh graduate consideration or 1–2 years’ related experience, own transport, and willingness to travel throughout Malaysia.

Job description

We are principally involved in the distribution of inspection, test and measurement equipment, materials and engineering solutions. We also manufacture optical inspection equipment, automated handling equipment.

In line with the business expansion, we are currently seeking a motivated candidate to fill the vacancy of Engineer - Sales (Based in Hicom Glenmarie, Shah Alam).

General Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and referrals. Focus on expanding the customer base for equipment sales.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Deliver compelling presentations, both technical and non-technical, to a variety of audiences. Tailor presentations to suit the customer's requirements and communicate complex product features in an easily understandable way.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to tailor equipment solutions that meet the specific needs of each customer.
• Lead the sales process from initial inquiry through to final sale, including proposal preparation and pricing negotiations.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, and progress. Regularly report sales metrics and achievements to management.
• Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidate must possess at least a Graduate Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Candidates with 1-2 years of working experience in the related field are welcome to apply.
• Possess own transport.
• Willing to travel within Malaysia.
