Job summary

P&N Industrial Trading Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor, is seeking an Operations Assistant to support daily sales and rental activities, coordinate equipment movement, and prepare quotations.

You will liaise with customers and internal teams, ensure timely documentation, handle delivery orders, and assist with service coordination while complying with safety and quality standards.

Strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, plus willingness to travel to customer sites, are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in operations, preferably machinery/rental industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue daily documentation for sales and rental transactions.
• Arrange machinery for rental, delivery, collection and return.
• Prepare sales and rental quotations.
• Issue and maintain rental agreements and delivery orders for customers.
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate with sales and operations for resolution.
• Coordinate with Sales personnel regarding customer requirements, quotations and arrangements.
• Liaise with drivers, mechanics, warehouse and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Monitor and follow up on rental, delivery, collection and service arrangements.
• Maintain proper operational documents, records and reports.
• Communicate relevant operational updates to the Operations Manager/Supervisor.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.

• Safety-conscious, responsible and physically fit for field work.

Educational Background

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in operations, preferably in the machinery, industrial equipment, construction or rental industry.
• Candidates with strong relevant operational experience may be considered even without a degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
